JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in need of a full-time Store Manager who can hit the ground running. The Store Manager is responsible for cultivating a friendly, helpful atmosphere for their fellow team members and guests while maintaining all store operations. As a Store Manager, you will report directly to the Regional Manager, managing a team of 3-5 Sales Associates/Vape Tenders and be accountable for the sales performance, reporting, and operations of the store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Uphold a “guest comes first” environment through training and holding team members accountable for providing wow-ful guest service to each and every guest
  • Converse with guests to understand their needs and the needs of the local community
  • Lead by example to promote the culture, values, and mission of Gen V
  • Manage guest and team conflicts calmly and effectively
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities and practices to team members to keep the store running smoothly and up to cleanliness standards
  • Monitor and manage store staffing levels including labor allocation, scheduling, team member development, and recruiting to achieve and maintain store operations requirements
  • Provide team members with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities with an eye toward building effective teams
  • Actively manage team members by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve their performance
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and programs as well as by finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition
  • Utilize and demonstrate effective management principles and practices to create and maintain a successful store team resulting in an environment where team members are valued and respected
  • Ensure team members adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements
  • Identify potential issues and prioritize communications to management team
  • Cascade communication and marketing execution to team members to ensure effective implementation of policies and promotions
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with peers in the surrounding area
  • Track sales trends with inventory levels to ensure the stocks levels meet guests’ needs
  • Reconcile store inventory monthly and troubleshoot discrepancies in inventory management
  • Track sales performance and prepare semi-monthly management reports

  • Utilize management information tools and analyze sales reports to identify and address trends and issues in store performance to achieve maximum Gen V-ness
  • Challenge and inspire team members to achieve business results
  • Brainstorm and implement programs to increase sales and/or improve store operations
  • Reconcile nightly cash drops and prepare weekly deposits

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years retail or guest service experience
  • Minimum 1 year management experience
  • Proven track record of excellence
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
