A Message from Generation V

Posted by Sarah Linden on

We want to assure all current and future Generation V guests that all of our products – most importantly e-liquid, pre-filled pods, and CBD vapeables – do not contain vitamin E acetate – the ingredient believed to be causing these respiratory complications. Unlike the black-market THC cartridges, e-liquid is made from water soluble ingredients and does not contain any oils or other substances known to cause respiratory illness.

Americans Should Not Use Black Market THC Oils in Vaping Products

Lincoln, NE (September 11, 2019) – Americans who vape should not be adding black market THC oils to their vape systems, NVVA & IFAST President Sarah Linden of Generation V said today.  Results published in The New England Journal of Medicine on Friday found 84 percent of the patients who are suffering from respiratory symptoms self-reported inhaling a form of THC oil purchased on the black market. The action was officially announced Wednesday. “My number one priority is keeping our kids safe and protecting the health of the people of Michigan,” Whitmer said. Whitmer complained that e-cigarette companies are...

Jayne O'Donnell and Ken Alltucker, USA TODAYPublished 6:30 a.m. ET Aug. 28, 2019 | Updated 5:31 p.m. ET Aug. 28, 2019 Federal health officials are under fire for their unclear public warnings after one death and nearly 200 cases of vaping-related lung illnesses, which some say are related to the far riskier practice of vaping marijuana oil rather than nicotine.  Some state health department and news reports suggest many of the cases of lung problems involve tetrahydrocannabinol, known as THC, the chemical in marijuana that causes psychological effects. Boston University public health professor Michael Siegel said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is being “unnecessarily...
